Why ivermectin? Dr Tess Lawrie has the answers

-

THANK goodness for Oracle Films. They are performing an incredible public service, interviewing and giving airtime to important voices who are being silenced, traduced, cancelled or demonised elsewhere. Take Novak Djokovic’s recent interview on the BBC: this was not just immediately followed by a heavy-duty ‘balancing’ follow-up about how safe the vaccines are, but several papers including the Times reported, with some relish, the claims that this BBC interview gave ‘anti-vaxxers’ too big a platform.

Dissenting or alternative doctors and scientists are more usually cancelled or ignored. They are treated as though they don’t exist, like the incredible Ivermectin Queen Dr Tess Lawrie!

Receiving a bit of a slap on the wrist from a doctor reader asking me for evidence for my claim that ivermectin is banned in this country brought her front of mind. The doctor suggested it was not and that my assumption would put off doctors from prescribing it ‘off licence’. He concluded his letter with this: ‘If it is actually banned i.e. under no circumstances can it be prescribed and to do so would be breaking the law, please can you provide me with the link/document that says that, otherwise write an article to encourage GPs and private doctors to be braver and use it for Covid-19.’

Instead of arguing about semantics or entering the dangerous territory of ‘encouraging’ what doctors ought to prescribe, I thought I would rather give the floor to the estimable Dr Lawrie, the real expert, to explain exactly what actually has gone on and why the Government (still) refuses recognise or promote Ivermectin as a Covid treatment.

She recorded this interview with Oracles Films last August, at around the time of the publication of this important systematic review.

Readers should know that Dr Lawrie is a world-class researcher and consultant to the World Health Organisation. She co-founded BIRD (the British Ivermectin Recommendation Development Group), an international consortium of experts dedicated to the transparent and accurate scientific research of ivermectin, with particular emphasis on the treatment and prevention of Covid-19. She has a company called the Evidence-Based Medicine Consultancy which works only for non-profit organisations. Her biggest clients happen to be those who are involved in opposing the suppression of low-cost repurposed drugs. Ivermectin is one such – it is safe and effective and Dr Lawrie says everyone should have the right to it.

In this film she also tells how she sent her preliminary survey report to Matt Hancock, then Health Secretary, and never even had a reply.  You can see the interview, recorded when she decided to speak out in protest against the medical establishment at considerable personal risk, here.
