As TCW Defending Freedom readers know, the brilliant young cartoonist Bob Moran was sacked this autumn by the Telegraph for offending their sense of propriety over an ill-judged but highly provoked tweet, despite his clear apology for and explanation of his actions. Since then, out of necessity, he has set up shop for himself. Following the online success of his cartoon prints and originals sale, Bob has introduced a range of clothing – including hoodies, t-shirts and sweaters – all with unique designs based on his famous artwork which make highly appropriate gifts for dissenters and sceptics amongst your kith and kin. And for yourselves – great to wear at the next protest march!
They are on sale exclusively at his online store, and include his iconic ‘Stand Firm’ painting brought to life on clothing, as well as four other pictures, with prices starting at £30.
Bob says he has received countless requests over the past few months for clothing from those on the side of freedom and decency: ‘It is my firm belief that we can rescue society from this dystopian, authoritarian nightmare only by getting the right messages to as many people as possible. I hope that these garments will be worn all over the world as a statement of defiance, a declaration of solidarity and a form of counter-propaganda. ‘
What a great thought!
